Opera Festival "Ruskeala Symphony"

Dear guests!

First time in the history of Karelia on 19 of August the international opera festival will be held under the open sky in marble quarry Ruskeala. The festival will be opened with the program "Italian evening". You will listen the works of famous italian composers, like Vivaldi, Verdi, Rossini, Puchini. The marvelous decoration of marble quarry will creat the unforgettable atmosphere during the neapolitanian songs and symphonic intermissions from opera.

Among the guests are invited baritone from the Big Theatre Nicolay Efremov, "the golden tenor" of Russia Evgeniy Uzhin, the finalist of russian open competition "Blue bird", countertenor Timur Slanov, the stars of Musical Theatre of Karelia - soprano Anastasiya Averina and bass Vadim Mokin.

Artistic program of the festival was organised by Karelian philarmonic and one of its collective - Symphony orchestra. The organisers are: the Ministery of culture of Republic of Karelia, Karelian philarmonic and Ruskeala Mountain Park with the support of charitable foundation "The North spiritual path".

In the end of the festival you will see the fantastic light show.
