International fishing festival "Ladoga skerries 2017"

On 11-12 of August 2017 the international fishing festival "Ladoga skerries 2017" was held in Sortavala city on the coast of Ladoga lake. Fishermen from different regions of Karelia, Leningrad, Tumen and Finland came here. Ladoga lake is always good for fishing, as it has more than 10 kinds of fishes: pike, roach, bream, perch, sudak, trout, palia, whitefish and etc.

The ceremony was opened by the famous actor Victor Bichkov in the form of his famous hero of the movie Kuzmich. Arthur Parfenchikov was welcoming the participants and fans of the competition.

It is the 8-th time when hundreds of participants are coming on the coast of Ladoga lake to compete in the fair fight in catching the fish and to get the prize.

The prize fund is 1 000 000 rubles.

Also other nice presents are waiting for our champions.
The champion in the nomination "The biggest fish" will get the motor-boat from the company "Aston Martin". The champion in the nomination "The biggest catch" will get the boat from the company "Altair-Pro" and the prize from the company "Rapala". The champion in the nomination "The cup of the President" will get the boat from the government of Karelia.
