Cross-country skiing

Skiing is an invention of northern people. In Karelia, people used them several thousand years ago in order to move quickly and comfortably through deep snow. In the 60s of the XVIII century in Norway, the first competitions in cross-country skiing were held. Skiing as a sport was born only at the turn of the XIX - XX centuries, but even before skiing was used for expeditions to northern regions of Russia, researchers and travelers. And already in the twentieth century skis have firmly entered in sports tourism.

Skiing will bring pleasure to any person, regardless of whether you just want to hike through the snow-covered forest or drive on a polished ski track and steep slopes.

This way of travel will allow you to enjoy the beauty of winter Karelia - silence and frosty air, relax, tighten up, take pictures of the winter beauties of the fabulous northern edge.
